The first ever public fundraising campaign for the multi-million dollar healthcare infrastructural project dubbed Kireka Adventist Hospital (KAH) MEGA Fundraising took place last weekend on July 30, 2022 at Kinawataka, the home of Kireka Adventist Hospital (KAH).

The first ever public fundraising campaign for the multi-million dollar healthcare infrastructural project dubbed Kireka Adventist Hospital (KAH) MEGA Fundraising took place last weekend on July 30, 2022 at Kinawataka, the home of Kireka Adventist Hospital (KAH).

The event was attended by notable politicians, religious leaders, corporate business executives, and church leaders. In attendance also was the treasurer of Uganda Union mission, Elder Kiggundu Frank on behalf Uganda Union Mission, the bishop of West Buganda Field, Pr. Sennuuni Daniel, and the bishop of North Buganda Field, Pr. Ssimwogerere David.

The central government was represented by the cabinet minister for presidency Mrs. Milly Babalanda who was the guest of honor. In her speech, the minister thanked the leadership of Seventh-day Adventist Church Central Uganda Conference for organizing the event, and as well the attendees for giving generously towards the cause. She remarked that God will work wonders if the church members faithfully do their part in bringing about the change they desire.

The minister was escorted by a team of women delegates from Busoga region where she happens to be the zonal and district women ministries leader under the SDA church administrative structure. In their speech, they thanked the minister for her exemplary leadership and advocacy for which they are grateful to God.

The sermon was given by Central Uganda Conference (CUC) bishop, Pr. Kajoba Samuel who called the attendees to remember and acknowledge the blessings of the Lord through the recent past while they consider their contributions towards the finishing of the first block of Kireka Adventist Hospital (KAH). The event was the crown of a series of locally held church fundraising campaigns that took place in the whole of Central Uganda Conference on the same day. On behalf of Central Uganda Conference, CUC bishop Pr. Kajoba Samuel thanked all attendees and the church at large for their support towards the Kireka Adventist Hospital (KAH) project and offered a prayer of blessing.
